Complex 3D cellular models are gaining unprecedented momentum to fill the gap in pre-clinical models for drug discovery. While much effort is devoted towards improving these cellular models, there has been less of an emphasis on standardizing and improving the control quality of the cell culture underlying these assays. Dr. Delcassian was interviewed for her views on best practice in this article.
